First consider having a qualified inspector or CEM conduct an Energy Audit consisting of:

• Energy bill analysis
• On-site inspection
• Identification of energy management opportunities (EMOs)
• Cost benefit analysis
• EMO implementation recommendations
• Value  statement (ROI)

By looking at behavioural changes and no-cost opportunities, you can save up to 20% on your annual energy bill. 

Save up to 30% more by implementing low-cost or short pay-back projects.

Investigate higher-cost or longer pay-back projects and save up to 50%.

And then find government and/or utility funding to help pay for your projects. (Note that funding is sometimes only approved before a project has started.)
